For industrial and embedded computers that need permanent CAN connectivity, use the existing Mini PCIe location instead of adding an external USB adapter and enclosure.

Best fit when

Host: A compatible Mini PCIe slot provides USB 2.0 signals.
Networks: Two independent CAN or CAN FD channels are required.

When a computer lacks industrial ports, testing needs extra adapters. Octant brings CAN FD, RS-485 and RS-232 together in one enclosed hub, connecting a laptop or industrial PC over USB for commissioning, automotive component tests and communication troubleshooting.

Where Octant fits

Field commissioning: Connect a laptop to drives, sensors or controllers. Check traffic and communication settings, and capture intermittent problems.
